Chola World Corporate Golf Challenge commences

Around 90 top corporate leaders teed it up on the weekend at the first regional round of the Chola World Corporate Golf Challenge at the Willingdon Sports Club, Mumbai in the return of big time corporate golf to the Indian calendar after the start of the pandemic last year. Participants expressed joy at getting back to meeting their peers and competing for a spot at the national final in December with an expectation of representing corporate India at the World Final scheduled in Europe in the summer of 2022. 

Several past World Finalists were seen in action at the 21st annual edition of the longest running national corporate tournament in the country. They included Vijay Chauhan, Sudhir & Pradip Patel, Shabbir Rawjee & Rahul Divan. 

Among those seen in action included Arun Murugappan, Chairman, Tubes Investments India, Prateek Pant, Chief Business Officer, White Oak Capital;  Navnit Nakra, CEO One Plus, and many others from the world of financial services and other industry leaders. 

The next three weeks will see regional rounds at Prestige Golfshire in Bangalore, Oxford Golf Resort in Pune and ITC Classic Golf & CC, Gurgaon before 16 finalists compete at the National Finals at ITC Classic on December 12th.
