Hitaashee continues good form with a win in Kolkata

Gurgaon’s Hitaashee Bakshi, who just last week won the Thai LPGA Qualifying School in Thailand, returned to India and continued her good form with rounds of 71-68-69 for a four-shot win at the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour’s (WPGT) 3rd Leg at Tollygunge Club in Kolkata.

Hitaashee entered the final round leading the field by three and added a final round 69 to lift the title comfortably at a total score of 2-under 208. Jasmine Sekhar was second at 2-over 212.

Last week’s winner and the 2023 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour Ranking No 1 , Sneha Singh of Hyderabad shot 78-72-71 to finish tied-8th along with Amandeep Drall and Gauri Karhade at 11-over par.

Hitaashee edged ahead of Sneha after the Kolkota leg with ₹3,69,000 , while Sneha is at ₹3,29,500.
