Strong show by Indian girls in Florida

Diksha Dagar stands 17th on the LET Rankings

Once again Indian lady pros on the Ladies European Tour (LET) have done Indian golf proud. At the the US$ 1mn Aramco Team Series event in Florida, Diksha Dagar, finished 6th with rounds of 69-70-71 while Pranavi Urs, who is playing her first season on the LET shot 67-74-72 to finish 17th at 3-under 213.

The tournament saw participation from top LPGA and LET players including three major winners, Americans Lexi Thompson, Brittany Lincicome and German Sophia Popov, and 41 players with 96 wins between them.

England’s Charley Hull, ranked 8th on the Rolex Rankings, was the highest ranked player in the field.

The LET tour takes a two week break and moves to Australia for the US$ 320,000 NSW Women’s Open from March 29-31.
