Scheffler took 109 putts over 72 holes to win the Masters

27-year-old Scottie Scheffler, already reigning World No.1, delivered victory at the Masters as expected, with rounds of 66-72-71-68, which game him a four-stroke margin at 11-under 277.

2. Only Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Seve Ballesteros have attained two Masters titles at a younger age than Scheffler has at 27.
3. He hit 79% of fairways (44/56), placing him tied for 10th for the week.
4. Hit 70% of greens (46/72), to be at 7th in this category.
5. He used 109 putts, per round, close to 27 putts per day.
6. He averaged 305.7 yards with his drives

Scheffler had struggled with his putting throughout much of 2023 and early 2024. But in the past 35 days has won three tournaments – the Arnold Palmer Invitational , THE PLAYERS Championship, and now The Masters. A change in his putting working with the Taylormade Spider Tour X putter and putting coach Phil Kenyon, widely regarded as the world’s top putting coach turned Scheffler’s putting woes aside.

Before these three wins, Scheffler was already the No 1 ranked player in the world – now he has simply become untouchable.
