Aditi 33rd in U.S. Women’s Open

Aditi Ashok has made 100% cuts in the majors this season

Aditi Ashok, who is enjoying her best ever year on the LPGA, shot 74-74-76-72 (8-over 296) and was below her very best but still made the cut at the tough Pebble Beach golf links to finish tied 33rd in the US$ 11mn U.S. Women’s Open.

So far in 2023, Ashok has made eight in 11 LPGA events , with four top-10 finishes, including a playoff loss in April in Los Angeles, California. She currently stands 28th on the tour’s Official Money List with earnings of US$ 604, 095 (4.9 crores).

In September, Ashok will represent India as part of the three-member Asian Games ladies team, alongside 16-year-old amateur Avani Prashanth and 19-year-old Pranavi Urs, with all three players hailing from Bangalore. Given her current form, Ashok has a strong chance of competing for a medal.

Aditi will now play in Ohio at the US$ 1.75mn Dana Open from July 13-16.
