Indian pros Nikita Arjun, Nishtha Madan and Saptak Talwar all continue to pursue their separate career paths on various tours in North America.

While Nishtha Madan, finished 19th on the Epson Tour, Nikita Arjun finished 38th in Louisiana while Saptak has retained conditional playing status on the Canadian Tour.

This was Madan’s second event of 2022 as an official member of the highly coveted Epson Tour, the qualifying circuit known as the “Road to the LPGA”.

27-year-old Nikita from Bangalore, finished with a disappointing 80 after posting scores of 75-72-73 to drop to 38th in Louisiana.

Meanwhile 23-year-old Saptak Talwar from New Delhi shot 68-71-72-72 (5-under 283) to finish tied-15th at the PGA Tour Canada Qualifying Tournament in Florida from March 8-11. His finish earned him conditional status on the Canadian Tour for 2022.

Talwar, a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, had earned full status on the Forme Tour last year, but failed to make the cut in any of his four events, forcing him to try to qualify again this year.

The Forme Tour was a parallel tour created by the US PGA Tour for current PGA TOUR Canada members that could not travel across the border because of Covid-19 restrictions.

India Golf Weekly will continue to track their progress in the coming year.
