Delhi’s Ridhima Dilawari won the 14th leg of the Hero WPGT at Tollygunge Golf Club Kolkata in a smaller than usual field of only 14 players, since 12 Indian girls had left for the Ladies European tour in Spain. The 23-year-old from Delhi began the final round a stroke behind third-round leader Lakhmehar Pardesi of Panchkula, but quickly rose to the top of the leader board thanks to four birdies. By the time she reached the 72nd hole, Dilawari had built up a four-shot lead. It turned out she needed that cushion as she struggled with a triple bogey on the final hole, ultimately winning by just one from Saaniya Sharma.

Ridhima shot 73-73-74 to finish 10-over, the highest winning total of the year while recording her second win of the year, following the season opener at Prestige Golfshire in Bangalore. Her winning cheque of ₹1,40,000 moved her to 7th on the tour’s rankings with season earnings of ₹ 10,06,900.
The Hero WPGT now heads to Royal Calcutta Golf Club for its season finale from Dec. 15-17.
