MUMBAI
Willingdon Sports Club (WSC) won the 25th annual Grover Inter-Club tournament played at their home course which was played in a Ryder Cup format with Round Robin matches between four clubs. Participating clubs are WSC, Bombay Presidency Golf Club ( BPGC), United Services Club and Poona Club.
The WSC team was selected based on two months of qualifying and then strategic pairing of 21 players. Team Captain is Pradip Patel , a veteran of the tournament and Golf Captain of WSC was 5 handicapper Akshay Kilachand.
The Inter Club tournament is widely followed and anticipated as golfers compete all year round for the honour of being selected for their club team.
